John Simmons

John Lester Simmons of Omaha. Born November 24, 1952 - Died November 27, 2021 Preceded in death by parents, Lester and Theresa Simmons. Survived by brother, William (Marie) Simmons and Ruth (Chuck) Rodgers; many nieces and nephews. MEMORIAL SERVICE: Thursday, December 2, 3pm, at Kremer Funeral Home, 63rd and Maple. John worked for The Avenue Apartments in midtown Omaha for 25 years as a maintenance man. His lifetime passion (besides working) was film. At the time of his death he owned tens of thousands of movies on disc.
