Smiling Jack Smith

Smiling Jack Smith was born Charles Jackson Smith in Jersey City in 1947 and raised in Staten Island, New York where he graduated from Richmond College in 1969 with a B.A. in Theater and Film. He moved to Spain in 1994. He has worked primaraily as a musician for most of his life as well as doing voice over work. He has worked on two films by director Emilio Ruiz Barrachina, The Disciple, where he played Joseph of Arimathea and Broken Poet, where he played Plynth the Persian.
