David Vagi

David Vagi is an active screenwriter and novelist who creates contemporary dramas as well as works of historical fiction and science fiction. An authority on money of the ancient world, he directs the nation's leading authentication bureau for ancient Greek, Roman and Byzantine coins and has appeared as the coin expert on dozens of episodes of The History Channel's Pawn Stars, with his segments having received some 50 million views on YouTube. His 1,296-page Coinage and History of the Roman Empire is the only book ever to have won all three major book-of-the-year awards in its field. Additionally, Vagi has contributed to six other books and has written more than a thousand articles and columns for magazines, newspapers, and academic journals.
