Aimee Newsom

Aimee Newsom has a lemons-to-lemonade philosophy about life. She attended 23 schools before graduating high school. A chaotic childhood cultivated an innate ability to develop characters. Flying by the seat of her pants as a kid taught her how to blend in, stand out when necessary, and assess what motivated people. Her best memories of high school were studying improvisation in Theater Arts class. Improv gave her freedom to be silly and making people laugh was intoxicating. She continued studying theater at Richland College and took a commercial acting class at Kim Dawson in Dallas, TX. She has studied with TBell Actor's Studio and taken personal coaching from Margo Manning in Dallas. Some of her favorite learning experiences have been working as a spokesmodel for Pepsi as it launched a new brand, completing a large scale print campaign for a rose company, national commercials, and a television special for The Reisenbach Foundation called Dear New York. She completed her degree in Elementary Education at University of North Texas. For over 20 years she taught children in public and private schools. Aimee has also worked as a bartender, waitress, maid, was in the Army and held a United States security clearance, managed the office of a financial corporation, and helped her ex-husband as he founded one of the largest and most successful tech companies in Texas.
