Matthew Eames

Matthew is a rugged individualist, with a long history of rebellion. Growing up the youngest son of a local football god made Matthew realize the importance of being a theatre kid to shake the assumption that he would follow in his fathers' and older brothers footsteps plaiting "Barney Ball" with a run heavy offense, and smash mouth defense. Unsatisfied with an undergraduate degree in Fertigation Sciences from Fresno State College he followed his dreams of being a minister in British Colombia by enrolling in seminary school at Regent College in Vancouver. Leaving one step ahead of the Mounties for visa issues, Matthew fled back to California with his new graduate degree in Theology. While pursuing his EMT certification in Santa Barbara County he was hired as the stand in for Thomas Hayden Church on Alexander Payne's masterpiece Sideways. These days Matthew has the fortunate position of only taking roles that he finds interesting and artistically fulfilling, like his latest role of Lizard Man.
