Nisha Kalra

A Mumbaikar who has lived in the U.S and Bangalore, Nisha graduated with a BMM from Jai Hind College in 2013. Following this, she worked as a copywriter and an AD with Nikkhil Advani before being selected for First Draft, a residency screenwriting training program. One of ten finalists out of 4000 applicants, Nisha went on to write a drama-comedy feature film for AIB, along with other drama and animated short films. She was part of the writer's room for the recently released Bhaag Beanie Bhaag, a Hindi-language Netflix series co-written by Ravi Patel and Neel Shah, featuring Swara Bhaskar as the lead. Apart from writing, Nisha is also an actor, improviser, and screenwriting professor. She is currently developing a series with a leading production house and is writing her feature project.
