Colin D. Heaton

I am a military veteran, former professor, historian, author of over a dozen books (two in foreign translations), and film/TV consultant. I have worked as both a talking head for documentaries as well as a consultant and researcher. I specialize in military history, and have conducted over 400 interviews with persons spanning over a century of conflict. I have two of my books with producers for docudrama and series options. My TV credits include History Channel, Military Channel, American Heroes Channel, BBC, Smithsonian Channel, Newsmax, World of Wonder, and Vulcan Productions. I have consulted on several films for input as to historical accuracy. I am a specialist in World War II ground, naval and air operations. I am developing projects for historical biopics, features and series. I am also available as a celebrity ghost writer for memoirs and autobiographies. I keep my client list classified, and my research, writing and publication history speak for themselves. My book, The Star of Africa is pending final funding in Germany as a docudrama, and we have a full team on board. My book Four War Boer is in South Africa and pending funding as a series. Michael Droberg and I are working on the screenplay for The Hammer, and we have many other potential nonfiction and scify projects on the table.
