Chef Christopher Walker has over fifteen years experience in the culinary industry. After over a decade of working in fine dining restaurants as a chef, he explored and expanded his skill set and became a butcher. He has worked at some of the best butcher shops and restaurants in Boston, including The Butcher Shop, Savenor's, West Bridge, and Clio. He is passionate about sharing his culinary and butchery experience, and offers a wide variety of Private Chef services, catering, classes covering all types of food preparation, from whole animal butchery to more refined honing of cooking skills. For seven years he taught Culinary classes at Newbury College in Brookline, MA, continuing to share his passion and experience of the craft with new and aspiring chefs. He has also mentored many butchers, providing two year apprenticeships to aspiring butchers. In 2020 he competed on the Food Network's culinary game show Chopped, season 49 episode 1 and 5. Chef Christopher Walker took on the challenge of competing against 15 chefs in a winner-take-all tournament. After multiple rounds and many talented chefs, Chef Walker joined the ranks of Chopped Grand Champion and was crowned The Comfort Food Fued Grand Champion. His cooking style is inspired by his family upbringing of soul food and his travels. The east coast, west coast, Singapore, Thailand, Taiwan, Vietnam, France, El Salvador and various parts of Europe are just a few places that he has learned from.
