Kris van Assche

Kris van Assche is a renowned Belgium fashion designer, born in Londerzeel. After completing his studies at the Royal Academy of Fine Arts in 1998, Kris moved to Paris and started an internship with Hedi Slimane at Yves Saint Laurent Rive Gauche Homme. He ultimately became Slimane's right hand, and moved with him to Dior Homme. Kris then founded his own label KRISVANASSCHE in 2004. He became the artistic director for Dior Homme from 2007 to 2018, and in 2018 was appointed as creative director of Berluti, he left in 2021 citing the strain of COVID.
