Finnian James

Finnian James is already a multi-hyphenate at the age of 14, having assembled a diverse list of credits in front of and behind the camera. He won the Flickerfest Spectrum Documentary Award for 'The Solomon Islands' and The Rose Bay Secondary College V Fest Short Filmmaking Award for his documentary 'The Hoodoos' as well as working as a production assistant and cameraman on the award winning documentary series 'Inspired Architecture'. Most recently, he played the lead role of Jake in the feature film 'Retreat' opposite George Basha and Maya Stange (dir. David Field & George Basha). Finnian's love for acting was sparked at the Australian Theatre for Young People, where he participated in the Drama Ensemble and Young Theatre Makers and then expanded his craft at AFTRS and NIDA, where he studied Drama, Improvisation and Acting for Screen.
