Mayu Arimitsu

Mayu Arimitsu grew up as a daughter of an art-loving entrepreneur and an active mother in Tokyo. She has a younger sister, who is an academic researcher. Mayu discovered an interest in performing arts and started taking dance classes at the age of three. During her school years she found another strong interest in English language and films. In 2006, she started working in the entertainment industry. Mayu joined multiple acting workshops while working as a model, radio personality and dancer. She landed her first leading role in a short film 'Kichigai'. Since then she has expanded her acting range through experience on various media - TV, film, commercials, theater, business and voice-overs. Alongside her acting career, Mayu hosted more than a hundred events as bilingual MC.
