Born in the small town of Socorro, in the state São Paulo, Brazil, Simone Pessoa Zucato is the first child of Eurico and Sonia Zucato. Simone lived many years during her childhood and adolescence in the United States, where she started going to drama classes during her childhood in Elementary School. She was raised by a Mexican-American family, until she returned to Brazil, where she had to go to Medical School as her father wished. After she finished Medical School, Simone started studying to become an actress. She went to renown theater schools in São Paulo and in Rio de Janeiro, acquired her license to work as an actress in the end of 2007, and in 2008 she started working as an actress. Simone Zucato is an actress, producer and translator. The last role she played on television was in the Brazilian soap opera "O Sétimo Guardião" (2018 and 2019), written by Emmy winner Aguinaldo Silva and directed by Rogério Gomes, another Emmy winner. In theater, Simone translated, produced and acted in Sylvia (2019), written by A. R. Gurney, in São Paulo and in Rio de Janeiro from July until December of 2019. Before that, Simone performed on stages throughout Brazil, in successful theater productions such as A Toca do Coelho (Rabbit Hole) written by David Lindsay-Abaire, which she translated, produced and played the role of Izzy Corbet. She also played the role of Vera, in the great Brazilian comedy play Trair e Coçar É Só Começar, Mãe in the musical play O Livro de Tatiana, written and directed by Bruno Garcia, Lilia in De Corpo Presente, Carol in Inimigos do Vício, Aurora in As Princesas do Castelo Encantado, Laura in Na Boca do Leão (Love, Sex and The IRS), written by Jane Milmore and Billy Van Zandt and Mãe in the Christmas play Papai Noel Existe. On Brazilian television, Simone also participated of soap operas such as Malhação Sonhos (in 2015), in Globo Television (Rede Globo), Corações Feridos (2012) in SBT, Caras e Bocas (2009) in Globo Television, Cama de Gato (2009) in Globo Television), and Casos & Acasos (2008), also in Globo Television. In 2017 Simone was diagnosed with breast cancer just right after she was invited to play her last role on television. She had to go through radiotherapy, surgery and chemotherapy just before and during "O Sétimo Guardião", and she is now cured form that. In April 2020 she got infected with Covid-19 and was successfully treated, but in July of the same year Simone had one of the greatest losses, her 68 year old father passed after having a heart attack during the pandemic. In 2020 Simone dedicates her time trying to raise sponsorship in order to have Falling, written by Deanna Jent, and Tamara, written by John Krizanc on Brazilian stages. She is also working towards having Sylvia back to Brazilian theater.
