Dianna M. Cruz

Dianna Cruz is an American actress. She can be seen as 'Liz' in the feel-good teen comedy, This is the Year (2020) from executive producer, Selena Gomez and director, David Henrie. Born in California and raised in South Florida, Cruz started working as an actress and model at the age of three, booking a national Huggies commercial. She later became a familiar face promoting girl's fashions for Disney World, Target, Clarks Shoes, and Walmart in print, billboards, and commercials. She made her way back out west to pursue acting while also studying at UCLA, where she recently graduated with a degree in Sociology. Of filipino and hispanic descent, Cruz is very passionate in the movement towards inclusivity and diversity in Hollywood. Her mother was a first-generation immigrant from Manila, and she is determined to bring more pacific-islander and hispanic roles to the big screen. As a current lifestyle blogger and influencer, Cruz has partnered with many fashion and beauty brands, sharing her personal take on style. Her brand influencer partnerships include Seventeen Magazine, in which she was a fashion ambassador for the magazine's clothing line The Edit by 17 with Macy's.
