David Cordon

David Cordón is an award winning filmmaker from Málaga with a background in music and visual effects. He studied Chemistry and went to work with a scholarship at the Ministry of Environment in Berlin as a lab technician. In 2010, David moved to London and founded 'Another Lazy Sunday' with sound mixer/designer Panagiotis Papagiannopolous ,directing and producing more than 60 music documentaries in the UK, Berlin and Paris over the course of two years. As a self-taught filmmaker, David has been influenced by many other artists through collaboration. He has developed a naturalistic visual approach, focusing on character driven stories with a strong interest in social disparity and cultural behaviour. David has had the pleasure of learning and working aside Bavarian legend Werner Herzog and Iranian virtuoso Asghar Farhadi as part of practical workshops organised in Cuba and Spain.
