Ntokozo Mbuli

Ntokozo Mbuli is a television producer, writer and on-camera presenter who is known for being the face of environmental and wildlife programming and the brains behind some of South Africa's award-winning content across genres. Her career behind the camera has been accompanied by her equally successful on-screen career. She is the Managing Director of television and film production company, Sugar Bean Pictures, which she founded in February 2018. She is executive producer of SABC 2's hybrid nature/culture series, Imvelogy; the long-running & multi-award- winning environmental TV programme, 50/50; the eTV telenovelas Ashes To Ashes & Broken Vows; as well as live events such as the 2016 South African Music Awards. These among many others. Her accolades include being named one of the 200 young South Africans (2013), receiving the Mail & Guardian Greening the Future "Future Leaders" award (2013), the WESSA (Wildlife and Environment Society of South Africa) National Award for Individuals (2015), and a South African Film and TV Awards (SAFTA) nomination for "best TV presenter". She sat on the judging panel of the South African Film and TV Awards (2014 - 2021), and on the jury of the International Emmy Awards (2017 & 2021). She is also the ambassador for the Rory Hensman Conservation and Research Unit and a board member of conservation organization Pangolin Africa as well as the Lapalala Wilderness School.
