Allen Hogan is an American stage and screen actor from a small town in South Central Kentucky. He was born in Glasgow, Ky, on February 24th, 1991. From the beginning, Allen loved performing, entertaining his family for hours while reenacting his favorite film scenes or imitating the Southern Baptist preachers he observed in church. It wasn't until his senior year of High School that Allen discovered his local theater (Kentucky Repertory Theatre) offered a Young Performer's Program. It was there that Allen was cast in his first production, William Shakespeare's "A Midsummer Night's Dream", where he took on the role of Flute the bellows-mender. Two weeks before opening, Allen was taken aside by Director Robert Brock and informed the young man playing the role of Oberon had to exit the show early due to unforeseen circumstances, so Allen would now not only portray Flute, but Oberon as well. Two completely different characters. Allen was worried he wouldn't be able to tackle two roles at the same time, but with the encouragement of his Director and co-stars, Allen pulled it off, and audience members were shocked to learn after the fact, that the two characters were portrayed by the same person. From there, the acting bug latched onto Allen and never let go. He has since continued his theatrical endeavors and eventually transitioned to film and television with credits such as school teacher Mr. Thomas in the Family Drama "Mail Order Monster" (2018) and Charlie in the Faith-Based series "The Dream Motel" (2019), in which he plays a former Medical Student turned drug dealer on the run from the law. More recently, Allen took on the role of Blake in the end-of-times series "The Dark" (2020) from Rossetti Productions, starring alongside Kevin Sizemore.
