Alexandra Merritt Mathews

Alexandra Merritt Mathews is an actor, singer, director, and writer based in New York City. She was born and raised in Buffalo, NY. Alexandra received her BA in Comparative Literature from The University of Chicago, and she received her MFA in Acting from The New School for Drama. She is most known for performing in PLATH/HUGHES (Sylvia Plath), an original musical about Ted Hughes and Sylvia Plath, for four years in both Chicago and New York. Her credits include: "Homicide City," "Asunder The Series," and "Dwelling." She speaks French fluently, and she's proficient in Serbo-Croatian and Macedonian. Alexandra is also a passionate educator.
