Natalia Goyen

Natalia was raised in Uruguay. She began piano and dance lessons very early, and started performing when she was 11 years old. Her mother was a director's assistant in a Musical, and Natalia enjoyed watching the rehearsals and shows. One day the lead actress broke her ankle an hour before the show, and Natalia was the only chance to save that performance, since there was no cover and she was the only one who knew the text and the lyrics (and had almost the same seize for the costumes). After that, she continued performing and the director invited her to join the company the following years. She studied later at the Musical Theatre School and the Drama Art School in Montevideo, and was Anita in West Side Story with great reviews. She also participated in dance-theater projects, music groups (with Urbano she won the 1st. place in a local contest), and joined the Luis Trochón Company, until she decided to move to Spain, where she lives since 2008. She filmed with Ricardo Dávila the shortfilm "Al menos no en Navidad", and was one of the soloist singers for "Espíritu de Broadway" (Algoquin Productions, National tour), and also recorded Vaughan's versions of the most popular english songs, which were released weekly by El Mundo newspaper. During the following years Natalia was part of the T-Gràcia Company, performing in several Musicals around the country, among other projects. In 2015 Natalia participated in "El gato negro", in the acclaimed Microteatro por Dinero. In 2016 she joined the National Tour of Sister Act, which ended with a short season in the Nuevo Alcalá Theater in Madrid, produced by Stage Entertainment, as part of the ensemble and Michelle's cover.
