Mackenzie Martinez

Mackenzie Martinez has been involved in the performing arts since she was a young child. She started at the age of 3 playing violin and continued to do so for 11 years. After that she picked up the guitar. She first got into acting when she was in High School and performed in a number of productions. While in school she was part of an invitation only Shakespearean class that gave her the opportunity to perform various lead and supporting roles in some of Shakespeare's most infamous works. During her time at The University of Virginia's-College at Wise Mackenzie worked closely with the theater department. One of her more prominent roles was as Dracula in the production of Dracula. As a bold casting choice the box office was sold out each night to see a typically male role reversed. As time went on Mackenzie found herself drawn to film. She has played in multiple roles from a strong heroine to a down and out druggie trying to get her life together to a woman in love. Mackenzie is trained in both the Meisner and Strasberg techniques. Mackenzie is extremely grateful for the support of her friends and family in chasing her dreams and acting career. She is looking forward to a long, successful career as a working actress.
