Sophie Sakson

Sophie Sakson is an American actress born in Miami Florida, and raised in Colorado's Aspen Valley. She studied classical ballet and piano from an early age. At age 10 she appeared as concert pianist for the Symphony in the Valley after training for two summers under full scholarship at the Aspen Music Festival. At age 13 she moved to Toronto where she trained professionally at Canada's National Ballet School for 5 years. Due to injury, Sophie decided to transition away from a career in dance and continued her performance training with a Contemporary Drama intensive at London's Royal Academy of Dramatic Art. Over the course of two years she completed a Bachelor's degree from Franklin University Switzerland, where she graduated with a focus in Comparative Literary and Cultural Studies. Sophie's thesis included the creation of her one-woman show Coarse Imaginings.
