Deveney Marshall

Deveney Marshall is an American actress, writer, director, and producer that hails from New Orleans, LA. Deveney holds a BA in Psychology from Dillard University. She is the owner of DEVandtheCITY Productions and the editor-in-chief of lifestyle and beauty website thedevandthecity. She is best known for Chains: A Story Of A Black Man's Soul (2017) and Roots (2016). Besides Deveney's love for the arts, she also holds philanthropy work close to her heart, and is the co-founder of the Dorothy Unique Foundation.
