Brittany DeVries

Based in Panama City, Panama Brittany DeVries is originally from California and is the founder and producer at Seedling Media Productions "planting seeds, growing ideas..." Brittany is passionate about impact filmmaking and children's rights. In 2012, she produced short documentary "Dear Panama," successfully lobbying for a new adoption & foster care law. She went on to co-produce short documentary "A World Without Orphans" (ICFF nominated 'Most Inspirational'/CLIFF 'Best Documentary') and was the consultant producer for feature documentary "Lost Kites" (London Film Awards 'Best Documentary'/NYLA International Film Festival 'Best Documentary Feature'). Narrative features in-development include "Archivo Pendiente" (Stowe Story Labs Selection), "Scars of an Orphan" inspired by the true story of a Ukrainian orphan and "Chacaleria" (2020 Panama Film Fund Winner) a crime film by Panamanian writer/director, Gurnir Singh.
