A life-long photography, fine arts and music lover, John studied at the Corcoran School of Art as a youth and under Washington, D.C. artist Jack Perlmutter in later years. Starting with reel-to-reel analog recording in high School, John has worked as an audio engineer and producer since the 1960's. He founded Megawave Corporation in 1972 in Ann Arbor, Michigan, operating an art gallery, record label, and video production service. John received bachelor and law degrees from the University of Michigan and worked for a number of years in public service. In 2003, John converted an 11,700 square foot warehouse to an audio and video production facility in Lansing, Michigan, where Megawave and its Andro-Media production division are now based. His audio production contributions helped garner Grammy nominations in 2007 and 2010 for reggae legend Lee "Scratch" Perry, and a number of regional music awards and nominations for other artists. His 16mm and digital film projects include numerous music videos and long-form music documentaries.
