Margareta Pîslaru

Margareta Pîslaru is a famous singer, composer and Romanian textbook of light-pop music, popular music, theater and film actress,writer, TV and Radio producer.She was born on July 9, 1943 in Bucuresti, Romania. She studied: piano, ballet , painting, Law School..In 1963, she plays first role in the movie Fumatul, strict oprit!.Other notable roles in films :Un film cu o fata fermecatoare(1966) ,Veronica (1973) Melodii, melodii... (1978) .Play on the stage of the theater ''Bulandra'' in Bucharest.She was married with Gheorghe Sencovici. They have a daughter, Ana Maria Sencovici.She has lived and worked in the United States since 1983, splitting between Manhattan and Bucharest.
