Lee Brooks

Lee Brooks is a New York-based composer for film and television, specializing in modern orchestral music. Raised in the Metro West area of Massachusetts, Lee was first trained in jazz, performing in various orchestras and ensembles. He later moved to New York to study composition and film, working at the New York City Opera and with Broadway composer Andrew Lippa. He has scored original music and created sound design for a variety of films, advertisements, Web video and live events, working with talent such as Kronos and ETHEL string quartets, as well as orchestras and dance troupes around the world. Before becoming a full-time composer, Lee worked at various advertising agencies as music producer and assisting a music industry forensic musicologist.
