Ruchika Mandhyan

Ruchika Mandhyan is an actress, writer, producer. She is a graduate of the California Institute of the Arts. Ruchika enjoys creating compelling, character driven content. Her script for The Journey of Mr. Deshee, a movie about immigration was a finalist @Sundance Mahindra Institute. She was a producer on The Old Son, a film based on the short story by sci-fi novelist Norman Spinrad. Ruchika wrote the literary adaptation for One Amazing Thing, a multicultural novel by acclaimed Indian American novelist Chitra Banerjee Divakaruni. As an actress she has done several shorts and plays a police psychologist in the SAG-AFTRA web series Detective Adam Sera. Ruchika also wrote, staged and performed the one woman plays: C. I. C: Contradictory Identity Contradictions at the Edinburgh festival and Stuck in Shavasana at the Santa Monica Playhouse.
