Riya Ray is an international model and an actress of Indian origin who has traversed the globe working for prestigious brands and projects worldwide. Her ethnically ambiguous and exotic looks proved to be a success in her work in Los Angeles .A couple of years ago She got a chance to work with Tony Kaye (Director of the movie 'American History X' starring Edward Norton) on a commercial he was directing. She plays one of the leads in the Burmese film 'The Dark Cinema' which released in April 2019 in Myanmar and Singapore. She has acted in the Hollywood Independent film 'Loaded' directed by Chris Zonas starring Kumail Nanjiani ('The Big Sick' ) and also played the role of the U.S based Indian News Reporter in the Bollywood Blockbuster Dhoom 3 Starring Superstar Aamir Khan and Abishek Bachchan . She is one of the first Indian models who has been featured in the most number of American music videos - from videos of the Academy and Grammy winning singer Cher( Woman's World) to artists like Nicki Minaj ,David Guetta (Where them girls at ), Fall Out boy (Irresistible ) and the most recent video for 'Rahat Fateh Ali Khan' (Ishq). Riya has also modeled in the US for brands like Sephora, Nike, Target, Chevrolet, and Budweiser etc. Riya is reportedly the first Indian model to grace the cover of 'Time Out' magazine, Chicago Edition. Riya has also shot for the world-renowned cosmetic brand 'Bobbi Brown'. She can be seen in various national commercials and campaigns in India - Renault Kwid with super star Ranbir Kapoor, Imperial Blue, Epson, Siddha Project,Shazé Eau de Parfum, Myntra ,Godrej Professionals, Orra Diamonds, Enrich etc Riya is also a canvas painter and her art pieces reflect on emotions and dreams that affect /inspire her.
