Paulo Leal

The Brazilian actor Paulo Leal de Melo Neto was born in Maceió, Alagoas, Brazil, to Célia Bernardes, a hairstylist, and Paulo Leal Jr., an economist. His father has Italian ancestry, while his mother has German ancestry. When Paulo was about one year old his parents separated and his mother moved to the southern part of Brazil, taking Paulo with her to a tiny beach town called Tramandaí, Rio Grande do Sul. Which is where he grew up. Paulo começou a tomar aulas de teatro quando tinha 13 anos de idade em Osório, uma cidade próxima a sua cidade natal. At the age of 22, Paulo moved up to Rio de Janeiro to start working at Globo television.
