Ben Long

Ben Long is a cinematographer based in Los Angeles. With an extensive background in sleight-of-hand, he specializes in capturing detailed visual and practical effects sequences in-camera. His expertise throughout the digital imaging pipeline covers both in-camera practical effects as well as post VFX and color, to create striking and seemingly-impossible cinematic visions. His work has been featured at AFI Fest, Clermont-Ferrand International Short Film Festival, Fantastic Fest, New Orleans Film Festival, Santa Monica Film Fest, SF Indie Film Festival, and the 2020 Cinegear Expo Film Series as well as at the 40th College Television Awards and the BAFTA Student Film Awards. He is a New Orleans native, Bard College grad, and an AFI Cinematography alum.
