John Washco

John Washco is a Marine Corp Veteran, serving from 1975-1979. After an Honorable Discharge, he worked as a videographer, editor, director, and executive producer for a large production company in Cleveland, Ohio. He produced a documentary about a local police department, then became a law enforcement officer and proudly served for 20 years. Most recently, he and wife Marianne have written several screenplays including TV pilots Dr One, and Real Cop Stories, and features: The Typewriter, Weasels, and The Monitoo. John is a member of the Ojibway Nation, and was given his traditional Indian name of Swasho Banance, "Thunderbird Man" by Tribal Elders. He lives in Northern Ohio.
