Actress Edison Jane Youmans was born in Christiana, Delaware. She was nicknamed "Edie" by her parents and in 2012, at the age of 2, she moved with her family to Orange County, California. She was quickly recognized by friends and family as an 'entertainer'. In 2013, at the age of 3, Edie fearlessly performed as the opening act for her sisters' elementary school talent show; executing an adorable freestyle solo dance to Nicki Minaj's "Starships". Edie's love for dance and entertaining led her parents to seek acting classes for her, and after 2 months of enrollment, she signed with the first agency she auditioned for...Clear Talent Group. Edie quickly began booking roles, including her first appearance on Jimmy Kimmel Live as a panelist in 2015. She continued to work on Jimmy Kimmel and has since filmed with the program 7 additional times. Most recently, in December 2018, she direct booked a live skit alongside Ben Stein. Also in 2018, Edie booked a national commercial campaign for Comcast Xfinity. Auditions took place across the United States, and Edie was selected to play 'Julia'. This campaign began filming in Philadelphia, the home of her favorite football team, the day of the Philadelphia Eagles Super Bowl parade. She has since filmed 3 additional commercials, 1 print campaign, and 3 radio ads over the next several months on both coasts. Edie has also lent her talents on the big screen as 'Young Kelly' in the film "Glass Jaw" in which she portrayed the younger sister of a champion boxer who grew up in a trailer park with an abusive father (played by Jon Gries). When she is not acting, Edie loves dancing, beat boxing, making slime, and playing lacrosse. Her favorite form of dance is hip hop and when she is not taking classes, you will find her making up her own choreography. She lives with her parents, her two older sisters, and a bearded dragon named Smaug.
