Sherri Pullum is a multimedia Artpreneur with a diverse skill set; A producer, director, writer, teaching artist, and a versatile actress with stage, television, film, and national commercial credits. Sherri assembled an Emmy award-winning team for her YouTube talk show, Dreamers Unite with Sherri Pullum, where she uses her gifts as host, creator, writer, and executive producer. As executive producer, creator, writer, her company is entering the television space with a new TV dramedy series pilot, Cherri Red Sweet Escape, represented by Smith Young Talent Agency, She is the lead actress, as Shari Jones and Cherri Red. Acting film credits include lead role as Jake in "Thank You for Your Service," Adrian in Rode; Dee Simon in Diamond Ruff; Her film/TV directorial credits include: CHERRI RED SWEET ESCAPE TV pilot, Rode, an independent short film (now being pitched as a TV series), Dear Girl docu-series which is in post-production, and numerous corporate videos. She is an associate producer of the short film, "Thank you for Your Service Sherri received an artist fellowship from Brown University for the nationally toured play, Ashes, which spotlights domestic violence, sexual assault, body image, and race issues. She is the co-writer of the vignettes, the dramaturge, and one of the four actresses. Notable performances include the White House's United States of Women Summit, Nuyorican Poets Café in NYC, Wild Project Theatre in NYC, and the National Black Theatre for the Diamond Ruff movie tour. Additional playwright credits include Turning Scars into Stars, a one-woman show, a snapshot of intergenerational stories of women cancer survivors, and the book for Shine: A Christmas Musical. She has received positive reviews for her stage work, including from the New York Times for her role as Hermia in Shakespeare's A Midsummer Night's Dream. As a budding actress, Sherri worked in her hometown of Connecticut at the Hartford Stage Company where she understudied Phylicia Rashad and Deidrie Henry, the beloved Southern Belle spokeswoman 'Annie' for the Popeye's Chicken Restaurant chain in Blues for an Alabama Sky.
