Garrett Avey

Garrett Avey, a Texas native, began acting in middle school, stealing the show as the Caterpillar in Alice in Wonderland. He continued his theatre career into high school where his first role in a drama won him 4 acting awards in Texas UIL Theatre competition, including All-Star Cast twice. In college, at the University of Texas, he transitioned to film and starred in multiple short films, including several that went on to be selected into festivals such as SXSW, Austin Film Festival, and the Montreal International Film Festival. After graduating from The University of Texas at Austin in the height of the pandemic, he spent a gap year working in the Art Department on reality television shows, including the sixth season of Queer Eye. In the summer of 2021, he moved to Los Angeles where he continues to build his career in film & television, one step at a time.
