Laura Crisp Davis

Laura is a Chicago-based comic, screenwriter, and voice actress known for The Sky is Falling (2020). She is an associate producer of In the Deathroom (2020), a multi-award-winning crime drama based on a short story by Stephen King. Her dark comedy short story, "My Family From Hell" about an oddball family from Hell, Michigan is published in the bestselling anthology "The Stories of She" (2020). The anthology debuted on Amazon in the Top 50 of seven bestseller lists, including #1 New Release in Screenwriting. Laura has adapted the story for a feature length comedy. Her debut novel, "The Recollection of Trees" (2019), was published under the pseudonym Sadie Francis Skyheart. It debuted on Amazon as #1 New Release in Children's Scary Stories, #8 Bestseller Teen & YA Ghost Stories, #27 Bestseller Teen & YA Visionary & Metaphysical, and #35 Bestseller Children's Scary Stories. It was re-titled "The Accidental Witch" in 2021 to coincide with a television series adaptation and the launch of its sequel, "Blue Willow Witch." Laura was born and raised in Michigan, and has a BA in International Relations from James Madison College at Michigan State University.
