Amber Joy Kahwaji was born in Phoenix, Arizona, to an American mother and Lebanese father. She began acting at 8 years old after seeing her first Shirley Temple movie. Her favorite movies were played so often the tape would eventually snap. Amber's first appearances on stage were for school showcases and talent shows, followed by the production of Stuart Little at Greasepaint Youtheatre. From there, Amber signed with a local agency and started doing commercial work in Scottsdale for companies including Axon/Taser, Taco Time, and Cisco Internet. After graduating high school she enrolled herself at the New York Film Academy's acting program for TV and Film. Upon completion she returned to Scottsdale and continued her training with Emmy Award winning writer and producer, Sherri Hildebrand. In 2017 Amber moved to Los Angeles to continue working in TV and film. She appeared in Wong Fu's production of "Two Types of People: Showdown!," played Ava in the short "Death and Tacos," and appeared in Mike Gioia's film adaptation of the poem "Hangman" for Blank Verse Films. She continues to work on various projects currently in production.
