Idil Çagatay

Idil Çagatay was born in Istanbul. She started music by taking piano lessons from Ayla Saydam. In 1994, she started her studies in Istanbul University State Conservatory - in opera department and meanwhile studied in harp department in the same school between the years 1996-2006. She studied opera singing with Güler Keskinkaya, Ayse Sezerman, Remziye Alper and Elena Kenber and graduated from the university in 2000. She worked at Cemal Resit Rey Opera as choroist, actress and stage manager assistant in many choral works as well as in the Istanbul State Opera and Ballet between the years 2002-2003 . She worked in many pieces as La Traviata, Prens Igor, Don Giovanni ,La Serva Padrona.
