Alexander Barbosa Gardiner

Alexander Barbosa Gardiner, born in East London and raised in Essex to a Brazilian mother and English father. Being involved in a variety of school productions Alexander went on to study at The Lee Strasberg Theatre and Film Institute of New York and then onto to do a French degree at Swansea University in South Wales where he graduated in 2017. At University Alexander was President of Shoreline Theatre being involved in a huge number of productions in his time there, acting in many from 'Lord of The Flies' to 'Dr Faustus' and a multitude of original student written pieces. Since graduating Alexander has had a multitude of different jobs, the traditional jobbing actor bar/restaurant work to being a croupier as well as a summer school counselor. Throughout this time Alexander has continued to act and pursue his performing passion, being involved in a large number of student short films, working in children's entertainment, hosting quizzes and most recently completing a contract as an Actor Host and compère for Marella Cruises. Alexander is an athletic soul, enjoying playing rugby, going swimming and skiing, as well as watching a variety of other sports. He has sadly been a Newcastle United fan his entire life thanks to his Dad. Alexander is also quite the cunning linguist, speaking fluent Brazilian Portguese and French, as well as conversational Spanish.
