Corina Cojoaca is a Romanian professional stage and film actress, and a former professional musician and opera singer. Holding a vast theatre repertory, from Shakespeare's Queen Margaret to Paula Vogel's Aunt Mary, she is now building a career in the international film industry. She earned a Bachelor's Degree in Opera singing at the Gh. Dima Music Academy, as well as a Bachelor's Degree in Communication and Public Relationships at the University of Babes-Bolyai, before proceeding to become a student at the Master's Degree in Acting at the Department of Drama and Theatre Studies of the University of Lucian Blaga in 2020. She worked with famous Romanian stage and film actresses, such as Delia Nartea or Maria Obretin, as well as with various opera and theatre directors. Cojoaca literally grew up on the stage of the National Romanian Opera House, performing in productions such as Carmen or Tosca, eventually starring in Ina Hudea's The Secret Wedding in 2018. In 2016, she produced her own symphonic metal demo album, entitled Bridge Over Darkness. In theatre, she plays a wide variety of roles, but is mainly cast as the femme fatale or the intelligent villain. Her recent highlights include the one-women-show Dissociation, written, performed and directed by Cojoaca, under the guidance of the theatre director Eugen Gyemant, as well as the role of Madam Vintila in Florin Cosulet's Holiday Game. In 2021, she is preparing her debut role in a feature film. With a profound powerful voice and character, and known for her incredible memorization skills, Cojoaca speaks fluently 6 different languages, from English to Finnish, French, German, Danish or Spanish. She also has a wide range of sports skills from horsemanship and scuba diving to weapon training and fighting.
