Who Is Shane Comley-White? Shane Comely-White is a go-getter, a Hard worker, a Giver, a Froward Thinker and some-one who tries to help others ,who has been there for him from the beginning and along the journey with him, to achieve their dreams in the best possible way. - by unnamed student and friend. My name is Shane Comley-White, I was born and grew up In Johannesburg South Africa. I have always been encouraged by my parents to push as hard as possible to make something of myself and to be proud of my achievements. My parents realized i was not a "normal" child growing up and didn't quite fit in in the " normal school (of those time). I was able to go to a vocational school and passed my High School levels in a dedicated field of the Arts. This is what launched me to be an entrepreneur. Thats where I began to be who I am today. What Is my future? My future has many opportunities that 2020 has opened up for me and my channel and name and You will have to keep coming back to see all the new additions that I will be sharing with you. In 2020, a very difficult year for the entire world due to the Covid 19 world wide pandemic, I was forced to find alternatives to physical training so we developed an online program to reach a wider audience. I then tried to get my name out to the masses, and part of this I was given an opportunity by a radio station in Cape Town, Zone Radio , i was given the chance to start a radio show called Martial Music Zone, which developed into a show called "Rocking @ The Movies." All of which I was out of my depth and all self taught. Thankfully I managed to pull it off. Following this I was able to reach out to my first International Actress ' Stas Levi' who was my first guest on the show and from there its been opening up so many doors. This was the start of my Youtube channel - and my personal website aimed at building up my credibility. I have been honored to be able to speak to some international and local movie starts - Some of my first huge Interviews have been: Adrian Paul - From the Highlander Series Eric Roberts - Many amazing movies. Simon Rhee - A martial arts expert choreographer and actor. Sean Cameron Michael - SA actor - featured in The Black Sales. And many more . My future has many opportunities that 2020 has opened up for me and my channel. We have created a Stunt team which will be a development group to help give back to those who are unable to and by forming this team we are also expanding into making movies and short films that we hope will bring attention back to the South African talent and give opportunities to those who otherwise would not have had any. SO keep watching this space for more exciting things to come. What Is My Martial Arts Background? A bit about Master S. Comley-White Shane Comley - White was born in Johannesburg and at the age of 17 started studying martial arts, began learning the traditional Korean martial arts which falls under the Moo Duk Kwan system. After receiving his 1st Dahn, Shane started to explore other styles and arts to gain a feeling of what tools complimented what he had already learned. Some of the other arts studied were Capoeira, Hupkido, CQC, along with the sword art called Shim Soo Do. After many hours dedicated to the perfection of the different techniques already acquired. Shane was asked by his Masters to open up his own school in South Africa. In 2004 HSD was officially opened. This school teaches open hand techniques along side a range of traditional and practical weapons. After receiving his 3rd Dahn, and successfully running a martial arts school, Shane decided to focus on the perfection of his already obtained skills. In 2009, Shane was given a government grant to train as a body guard, after a difficult training program which covered a wide range of tactical training techniques, first aid, advanced driving and many more valuable skills, Shane was qualified to start working within the VIP industry. As a qualified body guard and martial arts instructor Shane has built up a lot of knowledge which makes him someone who understand both the spiritual and physical aspects of using his skills, which allows him to pass on a wealth of knowledge to those who are dedicated to learning. On 7 and 8 December 2019, Shane was tested and graded to 5th Dan, it was an intense weekend of physical, mental and emotional testing but what a great weekend it was. With a minimum required pass mark of 95%, Shane was honored with a number of grades and honorees, tasked him with the responsibility of creating the Him Soo Do Foot Print in South Africa and the African continent.
