Cuan Snyman

Cuan Snyman was born in Durban, a city on the east coast of South Africa to Andre and Phillipa Snyman. His father, Andre Snyman, is an acclaimed South African rugby legend who played international rugby for the Springboks, 1996-2007 (the name of South Africa's national team) and on which the film Invictus, 2009 was based. Snyman is of Afrikaner (Dutch and some French Huguenot) descent, and his grandmother was born in England affording him British Ancestral rights. When he was 18 months old, the family moved to the USA where his father took up rugby coaching at a top club, after he retired from his international rugby playing career. When the family relocated to England, once again for rugby, Snyman attended a private school in Doncaster, Yorkshire where he discovered his love and passion for acting during the rigorous drama classes that was part of his school curriculum. On returning to the USA, after their sojourn in England, Snyman took up acting classes with Kasha Fauscett who has coached him to new heights. In Ghosters Phantom Patrol, 2021, Snyman was the voice of Joey Middleton in the animation sequence and his latest project is Guilty by Vice, 2022 which is in pre production.
