Zak McConnochie

Zak McConnochie is an Actor/Filmmaker from the UK. Zak's biggest dream as a child was to become an actor, this led to him taking part in many performances at a young age and developing a love for the art of acting. This passion for acting led to Zak making his own short films, using these videos as a medium in which he could develop new acting skills, whilst gaining an understanding of how to craft stories. This outlet itself in many different ways, from making live action videos which challenged his physical acting, to stop motions, which built his foundations for voice acting. This continued throughout his late childhood/early teenage years where Zak would take any opportunity to present school work in the form of a video and it was at this time where Zak met Alfie Benson. Zak and Alfie shared their passion for acting and filmmaking and have been making videos together since the age of 11, they now make films together under the title 'Red Pen Films', the first of such films being, 'Greenwood' (2022). Zak's passion for acting and filmmaking still motivates him to keep pushing his skills and make each film better than the last, and still has the vision to pursue it full time. Zak wants to keep chasing the dream that was places inside of him as a young child.
