Also known as Alex Ramos, Alejandro Ramos was born on September 3, 1998, in Guatemala City, to Dora Lily Alvarez and Jaime Ramos Santis. Alex started his art studies at National Conservatory of Music "Germán Alcántara" in Guatemala studying drums, piano, and singing. At 12 years old, he signed for his first movie "Pol" where he got an starring role. He kept studying acting outside school hours and came back to act professionally in 2015 when entered the National School of Dramatic Arts, studying a 3-year career in acting. Two years after, he was cast as a lead for the movie El Juego del Muerto (2017) and Hostal Don Tulio (2017) as a supporting character. He appeared in several short films while still studying: Secuestro familiar (which he also wrote, 2014), 2500KM (2016), El Altruista (2016), La decisión (2016), Autopsia de un sueño (2016), Conducta Siniestra (2017). One year after graduating, he received the Revelation Artist Award. After this, he started dedicating to contemporary dance, working on the most prestigious contemporary dance company in Guatemala, Momentum (2019,2020). While dedicating to contemporary dance, he worked in films such as Transparencia (2019), Ni X ni Y (2019), El Tunel el Ojo y el Muro (2019), Twilight (2020), Felonia (2020), (Guernica), Random(2020). His inclination is directed towards acting, yet, he does not depart from the other performing arts, as they are an important part of his life and set of abilities. In 2020, he discovered a new passion: languages. He learned French and now he is fluent in Spanish, English and French, currently studying German and Italian.
