Simon Cotton ha terminado recientemente de filmar en dos películas británicas independientes, The Rise of the Krays y The Fall of the Krays. Interpretó a Ronnie Kray. The Rise of the Krays se estrenó en el Festival de Cine de Cannes 2015. Simon interpreta a Steve en The Monster, también protagonizada por Richard Glover y Helen George. El cortometraje fue encargado por Film London y se estrenará en el BFI en septiembre de 2015
