Jane Arapawe

Jane Arapawe, July 10, 1987. Guadalajara, Jalisco, Mexico. She is a producer, director, actress, screenwriter, philanthropist and university professor of Colombian descent born in Mexico. She has a degree in Cinematography from the Universidad de Las Californias Internacional UDCI Film School. She has a master's degree in Design, Advertising and Corporate Image (UDCI). Doctorate in Education (Doctorate) from Xochicalco University. Diploma in Community Leadership from Cetys Universidad Tijuana. Diploma in Digital Marketing and Social Media from Edutin Academy Delaware USA. With studies in Introduction to Audiovisual Production and Didactic Uses of cinema: Introduction to analysis by the National Autonomous University of Mexico - UNAM, Cinematography with Drones, Creation of Cultural Projects by the National Center of the Arts, Professional Voice-over by the Union of Workers of the Radio, Television, Telecommunications, Similar and Related Industry of the Mexican Republic (STIRTT Nacional) and Founder of the independent film production company Film Klapp. In 2015 she was the producer of the short film LALO, selected in Border Filmmakers at the San Diego Latino Film Festival 2016 and Show Case of Creative Short (Mexico). With the Mexican actor Jesús "Chuy" Padilla, nominated by the Mexican Academy of Cinematographic Sciences for the Ariel Award 2015 as best actor for his performance in the film 'Workers'. Producer of several film projects, highlights "La Recompensa" by Dir. Marco Antonio Espinoza, Official Section 2017 - Narrative Short Film, at the Indiewise Film Festival Miami, USA. "When Reality Fades" and "Aurora" from New York Film Academy / UDCI Film School. Producer of the Short Film Trilogy La Trifulca Five Billion Dollar I, II & III (2019) and the feature film UNDOCUMENTED UNAFRAID (2020) by Dir. Arturo Pulido and produced by Trifulca Profilm, Tree Full Fly and Film Klapp, a film that has more Out of 20 official selections at International film festivals, he was an official selection at DocsMX 2020, a selection at the NATFFF Festival in Montreal Canada, the Diego Echave Foundation and the Cievyc Center for Research and Experimentation in Film and Video where he had a special mention, an official selection in San Diego Latino Film Festival. Best Documentary Award at the Ventotene Film Festival - Open Frontiers in Italy 2020 and Best Feature Film Award at the UNAM CCH International Film Festival - Cecehachero Film Fest 2021. She is currently working on post-production on her short film Sand Racing.
