Philip Wiseman

Went to Allegheny College, Pennsylvania, and then to Yale with Paul Newman, introducing him to his ex, Joan Woodward. He moved to London, as a Fulbright Scholar in 1959, to study theatre, also in Paris where he was introduced to Bertolt Brecht. He directed Richard Harris at the Gate Theatre in the Ginger Man 1959.
