Aiess Alonso

Aiess Alonso is a Filipina filmmaker having lived and worked in Myanmar, Nepal and China. She is a Directing fellow of Asian Film Academy in Busan International Film Festival. Focused on producing, she is a member of EAVE (European Audiovisual Entrepreneurs) and attended the Cannes Producers Network. She participated in various film ateliers such as La Fabrique - Les cinémas du monde in Cannes Film Festival, Open Doors in Locarno Film Festival, Produire au sud in Festival des 3 Continents and Southeast Asian Film Lab of Singapore International Film Festival. Alonso helped curate an Asian Shorts section of Binisaya Film Festival.
