Writer/Director Henry Rembert has been in love with telling stories since he can remember. Born and raised in Brooklyn New York, reading comic books as well as watching movies and TV inspired him early on. Fanning the flame that would turn a hobby into his lifelong passion. Graduating from Pratt Institute in 2003 for Art Direction/Advertising. Directing and producing Amarachi (2010), an unscripted series about a close knit group of friends that frequent a local bar in Brooklyn. Following an unscripted series with a tightly written office comedy series in Cc:'d (2011) drawing from his experiences of working in marketing. Rembert then took turn for the street drama with Scammers (2012) a series about NYC identity thieves and the culture that surrounds them. He applied his focus toward the comics industry and the inequality that exists within it for his next series, Colorful Characters: A study of diversity in comics. (2014). Rembert launched his 4th series Jennifercation (2017) a comedy loosely based off of his life and experience being in an interracial marriage. Henry resides in Queens where he writes, directs, animates, and produces his stories.
