Josiah Yanes

Yanes was born and raised in Los Angeles, David, an IT Manager, and Cecilia Yanes, a cosmetologist. His mother was originally from El Salvador and his father is of Cuban descent. Since Yanes was a young boy he has had a passion for acting and the making of films. Along with this and growing up in a household with strong Latin roots, Yanes didn't want to just connect with American entertainment but also to embrace the Latin diversity crisis in Hollywood. After graduating high school Yanes attended college majoring in Communication, with a minor in Theater Arts. While studying there he was able to learn and practice his craft using various methods such as Meisner, Stanislavski and, his biggest inspiration the technique of Stella Adler. Although Yanes has been cast in a few college productions and student films, he now strives for more challenging and meaningful projects.
