Hieu Gray

Hieu Gray is a Vietnamese-American director, producer, writer, and actress based in Los Angeles. For over a decade, she spent her career as an award-winning CNN writer/producer creating launch campaigns for some of the network's biggest shows like Anthony Bourdain Parts Unknown and Larry King Live. However, she yearned to create more diverse stories and moved to Los Angeles in 2018 to achieve her ultimate goal of becoming a force for Asian-American representation behind and in front of the camera. She grew up in the deep South and can pull off a real Southern accent. She graduated from Emory University with a dual degree in Journalism and Creative Writing. She also has an MFA in Creative Writing from New York University.
