Bleach (2004)

When Shinigami Rukia Kuchiki unexpectedly appears in Ichigo Kurosaki's bedroom, a chance encounter leads to her transferring most of her powers to him, inadvertently. This newfound power makes Ichigo’s job now being a Shinigami, battling Hollows and guiding lost souls to Soul Society while sheltering Rukia in his home as she recovers her spiritual strength. However, that could be her death. An excellent anime with stunning animation, a lot of action, and Japanese mythology.
